I have been interviewed by Bristol Post on the importance of LGBTQIA+ informed/affirmative therapy:
'Bristol Psychotherapist's Mission to Support Queer Community'.

About Me
I'm a UKCP registered psychotherapist in training, and I've been offering lower-cost in-person therapy to adults in Bristol and Bath since 2021. I am working towards my MA in Integrative Psychotherapy.

I offer somewhere for your experience to be heard, without judgement, and at your own pace. In this space we can explore your difficulties together, deepening your understanding of yourself, with the hope of helping you find a more connected, authentic way forward.

I identify as queer, and work with many members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have a passion for explorations of identity, gender, sexuality and relationship diversity. Neurodiversity and chronic illness are other areas of interest/experience.

What Therapy Offers
Therapy gives us a place to discuss and work through the things might feel unable to in our day-to-day life. These might include difficulties around relationships, past trauma, gender and sexual identity, or more generalised experiences like low self-worth, anxiety, depression, a feeling of 'stuckness', or a lack of authentic engagement and passion for life.

Therapy With Me

With so many types of therapy out there, you might wonder which is right for you. Though there are specialist therapies on offer for particular needs, numerous studies have shown that what matters most, rather than the type of therapy, is the relationship between you and your therapist, so this is where we start.

As a Humanistic and Integrative psychotherapist, I see you as a unique individual with unique needs, and draw on a variety of approaches to suit you. There is no one-size-fits-all way to help someone. We give attention where it feels needed, and check in regularly on how it is going. If something feels right in therapy, we can lean into it. If something feels off, we can address it without judgement.

My Values and Experience

I place great importance on the autonomy of every person—a value that has solidified over 15 years in the helping professions. I spent time as a volunteer youth counsellor with Off The Record BANES, working primarily with university students, and currently lead a local arts and crafts group for community wellbeing.
